day-40
September 29
Last Day of First Phase Teaching Practice
I reached school on time, signed the attendance register, and went to the allotted room. This day marked the last day of the first phase of teaching practice, making it a meaningful and reflective experience.
During the third period, I handled Class 9N, teaching the topic “Cellular Respiration” from the chapter “Respiration and Excretion”. The lesson helped students understand energy release at the cellular level. In the last period, I conducted a remedial teaching session for Class 9N, supporting students who required additional clarification.
I also managed substitution duties for Class 8B (fifth period) and Class 10I (sixth period). At the end of the day, I informed the teachers and the principal and obtained marks and signatures on the evaluation sheets and records.
Overall, the day concluded the first phase of teaching practice successfully, providing valuable teaching experience, professional guidance, and confidence for future classroom engagement.
