second phase teaching practice- day 2

October 15

Today, October 15th, was a calm and productive day at school. I reached the school on time, signed the attendance register, and went to the classroom. Classes began as per the timetable after the morning prayer. I handled classes in the 8H standard, including the 4th period, and also had a substitution duty on 8J during the 6th period. In my class, I taught the topic “Cell and Cell Structure” from the chapter “Cell and Cell Clusters.” The students showed interest in learning about the basic structure of the cell, and the session helped me strengthen my teaching and classroom management skills.

Today was also significant as World Students’ Day, celebrated on the birth anniversary of Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam, which reminded everyone of the importance of education, dedication, and student empowerment. Though there were no special events in the school, I actively participated in the midday meal program, which gave me a better understanding of school responsibilities beyond classroom teaching. Overall, the day was smooth, well-organized, and satisfying, making it a good learning experience for me.
