second phase teaching practice-day 25
November 20
I reached school on time, signed the attendance register, and went to the allotted room. There was no morning assembly, and classes began after the prayer.
A Social Service Scheme (SSS) Inauguration was conducted, highlighting the importance of social responsibility and community service among students.
During the second period, I handled Class 8H, teaching the topics “Monera, Protista, and Fungi” from the chapter “Tree of Life”. The lesson helped students understand the basic characteristics of these kingdoms through discussion and examples.
I also managed substitution duties for Class 8C (first period) and Class 9C (seventh period). In addition, I was assigned Mid-Day Meal duty, contributing to student welfare and school responsibilities. Overall, the day was meaningful and productive.
