Third week of teaching practice

The third week of my teaching practice was from 4th to 8th August. As usual, the school day began at 9:30 a.m. I reached the school on time, signed the register, and reported to the prescribed office classroom. On 4th August, I had a class in the third period in 9 N and actively engaged with the students.

On 5th August, I was assigned a no class. On the same day, we conducted a school-based activity in connection with Hiroshima Day. A quiz competition was organized, first at the class level under the guidance of the class teachers. The selected students then took part in the school-level Hiroshima Day Quiz, which was successfully completed. The prize winners were also announced. On 6th i had a substitution duty in 8C. Meanwhile, the first group of student-teachers conducted their school-based activity based on quit India Day, which also included a quiz competition.

On 7th August, a special assembly was held in remembrance of Hiroshima Day. I had an optional observation class during the fourth period in 8B.

On 8th August, I was assigned duties in the fifth and sixth periods in 8B. In addition, we were allotted back-checking duty in the school.

Overall, the third week of teaching practice was fruitful, as it provided me with opportunities to manage classes, take part in co-curricular activities, and improve my teaching and organizational skills.
